Techie Tips

Long ago in a Web World not  far away . . . the valiant BT Sisters of MsGypsy’s blog ran into a bit of  tech trouble.

Rifkind is not a PC, hardware/software or network guru.  I was able to assist Tango with her troubling email problems when she shifted to Vista.  Here are some of the techie tips that we have found useful on the blog.

Vista - Tango had problems with Email. Anybody who did a Reply-To from her email had it go to a nonexistant version of her husband’s email address.

Recently the BLOG seems to be very sensitive to any posts that have links in them.
It used to be that we could have one or two of URLs embedded in our posts before they were consigned to Post Purgatory.
Tango was really great about keeping the bucket cleaned out and clearing the posts, but with Tango on a business trip, we may have to wait for MsGypsy to clear them.  Dizey has also been added as an administrator, and she can also clear the posts now.

For now, I would suggest adding spaces into the URLs,  as that seems to have worked for folks today.

I’m afraid it might be those signature blocks some of us are using causing the system to read them as spam. That’s the only thing I can figure.
